R.O.N.Y.

Half-African, half-Brazilian, born and raised in Paris, France, my music has been inspired by a soul-shaking journey in Mauritania. My songs talk about poverty, love and dreams, in a folk world music style. Tracks using African instruments (Tidinit, Udu, played by Mr Cheikhou Ba) were recorded in Nouakchott, Mauritania. My 1st EP: "Folk Of Nomads" was produced in Nice, France in the ARION Studio, by Mr. Fisichella. After 1 year of live concerts in France (Paris, Nice), China (Shanghai) and Canada (Sherbrooke), I have recently moved to London, UK, where I perform weekly. Coming up, a series of concerts with a full band orchestra: Rhythms Of New York.
